The Member Engagement Representative/Community Health Administrator is responsible for curating members’ experiences by providing a welcoming environment for all and engaging and connecting members and guests to the Y’s programs and services, ensuring every person who enters the West Cook YMCA has quality experiences.
The Community Health Administrator aspect of the role focuses on supporting the Community Health department by being detail-oriented and mission-focused while conducting data entry, phone calls, and email communications. This role requires strong clerical skills, including accurate record-keeping, document preparation, scheduling, and database management. The Administrator will regularly handle confidential information and must maintain a high level of professionalism and organizational efficiency.
In addition to administrative tasks, this role is highly people-facing and requires strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
The Community Health Administrator portion of the job will serve as a key point of contact for community members, staff, and external partners. They must be approachable, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively across diverse populations to support the YMCA’s inclusive mission and promote engagement with health initiatives.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Weekdays/Weekends: 6:00 am-2:00 pm
Weekdays/Weekends: 2:00 pm-10:00 pm
Saturdays: 8:00am-12:00 pm
